1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including account information (name, email address, and clinic details for clinic users), health data (weight entries, food logs, water intake, and motivation scores), and usage data (log timestamps and session activity). We do not collect information beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, to generate AI-powered nutrition insights displayed within your account, and to send weekly clinic digest emails summarizing patient activity. We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your health data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is hosted on Supabase, which operates on SOC 2 compliant infrastructure. The application is deployed on Vercel. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

4. Health Data

Health data is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Your health information is accessible only to you and your designated clinic. Please note: MIZAN is a wellness application and is not a HIPAA-covered entity at this time. We recommend that clinics enter only the minimum information necessary to provide the service and avoid including protected health information (PHI) beyond what the platform requires.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account and request deletion of your data, we will delete it within 30 days of receiving that request. Certain records may be retained longer if required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, please contact us at hello@nutrigrow.org. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies only, which are necessary to keep you logged in during your session. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent you from logging in.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users via email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
